Z370M DS3H Micro ATX Motherboard

The GIGABYTE Z370M DS3H is a Micro ATX motherboard built on the Intel Z370 chipset for LGA 1151 socket processors. Not Backward Compatible With Older LGA 1151 CPUs

This motherboard does not work with earlier generations of LGA 1151 processors despite the shared physical socket. The jump is worth it when moving to an 8th Generation Core i7, i5 or i3 CPU to gain access to the Z370 feature set and higher DDR4 memory speeds. Builders retaining an older LGA 1151 CPU must keep their existing board or choose a different platform.

Sustained Load With DDR4 Overclocked Speeds

Running memory at the top overclocked frequencies such as 3866 MHz or 3800 MHz increases heat output and power draw during extended workloads. Adequate case airflow and a quality CPU cooler become important to maintain stability over long sessions. The board delivers the supported SATA and USB 3.1 throughput consistently while the VRM handles the 8th Generation processor power demands.
