The Gigastone 2.5 inch drive uses 3D NAND with SLC cache to deliver sequential reads up to 520 MBps and writes up to 4800 MBps. Random 4KB performance reaches 95000 reads and 90000 writes. It fits laptops, desktops and ultra-slim notebooks at 7 mm height.
Capacity and headroom
At 1TB the drive holds operating systems, applications and large media libraries with room to spare. The 500 TBW endurance rating and 1,500,000 hour MTBF support heavy daily workloads. Performance scales with the SATA interface so sustained transfers stay consistent until the interface ceiling is reached.
SATA III practical limits
