It connects via USB 3.0 and draws power from the host port, with an included USB-A to DC 5 V cable for extra current when needed. The drive targets laptop, desktop, all-in-one and mini-PC users who still work with optical media and want extra connectivity in one device. Reads and burns BD, DVD, CD up to 50 GB recording

Blu-ray read speed reaches 6×, DVD 8× and CD 24×; BD-R burns at 6×, DVD±R at 8× and CD-R at 24×.
