AC Variable Speed Controller for Fans and Motors

The Hosyond H-094 is a 120V AC motor speed controller rated at 12A continuous current with a 15A maximum. It provides adjustable output voltage from 0 to 120V for precise speed control of ceiling fans, inline duct fans, exhaust blowers and hydroponics ventilation equipment. A built-in LED display shows real-time output voltage for accurate monitoring. The unit plugs into a standard US Type A/B socket for immediate use.

Capacity and Headroom for Inductive and Resistive

Rated at 12A with 15A overload protection, the controller handles inductive loads such as fan motors up to 1500W and resistive loads like heaters up to 2000W. The zero-hysteresis design with RC absorption and surge protection maintains stable voltage under load. Operation stops automatically if current exceeds the 15A limit, protecting both the controller and connected equipment. Continuous loads near the maximum rating should be monitored for temperature rise.

Upgrade from Basic Switches or Dimmer Modules

This unit replaces simple on-off switches, basic rotary dimmers or fixed-speed fan controls that cannot regulate AC motor speed smoothly. The step-less voltage adjustment and LED readout make the jump worthwhile when precise airflow, temperature or brightness control is required. It is not suitable for soft-start voltage regulators, induction transformers or loads that demand a pure sine-wave output.
