The HPE BL460c G10 blade server ships with two Intel Xeon Gold 5120 CPUs running at 2.2 GHz. Each processor provides 14 cores and 19.25 MB of cache. The system includes 64 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory and two 900 GB SAS 2.5-inch 10K hard drives managed by a Smart Array P204i-b SR Gen10 controller. Integrated Lights-Out Advanced remote management is built in.

This blade fits environments that need high core counts in a compact form factor, such as virtualisation hosts or HPC nodes. The chassis supports up to two 2.5-inch drives, so total internal capacity is limited to the installed 1.8 TB. Buyers who need more than two internal drives should consider a different platform.

Maximum memory capacity is 128 GB DDR4

The server accepts DDR4 SDRAM up to 128 GB across its memory slots. The current 64 GB configuration leaves room for expansion within the same memory generation. Only DDR4 modules are compatible; other DDR generations will not fit.
