Dual Xeon Gold 6226R Server

The HPE ML350 Gen10 8SFF is a rack-mount server system equipped with two Intel Xeon Gold 6226R processors running at 2.9 GHz and 32 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. It targets businesses that need a configurable platform for virtualisation, database workloads or general-purpose compute in a tower or rack form factor. The chassis supports up to eight 2.5-inch SAS drive bays and includes an HPE Smart Array P408 controller with two 500 W Flex Slot power supplies.

Installation and common issues

The unit ships with BIOS and firmware updated to the latest stable version and has passed full diagnostics and burn-in testing. Drive bays are tool-less, but no drives are installed; buyers must add SAS drives or SSDs separately. Rail kits are available on request and are not included by default. Memory population rules for DDR4 ECC registered modules must be followed when expanding beyond the two 16 GB DIMMs already fitted.

Memory capacity ceiling

Maximum supported memory is 3 TB of DDR4 ECC registered RAM across the available DIMM slots. This ceiling determines whether the server can handle the intended workload consolidation or in-memory database size. The installed 32 GB is a starting point; any expansion must use DDR4 ECC registered modules compatible with the Xeon Gold 6226R memory controller.
