SAS 12Gb/s Storage and PCIe Gen5 Bandwidth Limits

Storage connects through an MR408i-o Gen11 controller with 4 GB cache over eight PCIe lanes, delivering 12 Gb/s SAS throughput to the 2.5 inch SSDs. PCIe Gen5 slots provide high-speed expansion for additional controllers or accelerators, but total lane count and form factor restrict how many devices can run at full speed simultaneously. The embedded OCP3 network adapter supplies four 1 GbE ports; no higher-speed networking is included.
