The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 is a 2U rack server built for compute-intensive workloads. Two Intel Xeon Gold 6126 processors deliver 24 cores at 2.6GHz with 19.25MB cache each. 1TB of DDR4 ECC registered memory supports large virtualisation clusters or in-memory databases. The chassis is new and ships without drives so you can populate up to eight 2.5-inch bays with SAS media.

Dual 500W Flex Slot power supplies require compatible PDUs and cables in your rack. The installed Intel I350/X540 card provides two 10GbE and two 1GbE ports — verify switch port speeds and cabling type. HPE iLO Advanced remote management needs a dedicated management network segment. Confirm the 36 x 24 x 10 inch footprint fits your rack depth and that the 40-unit weight is within your shelf or rail rating.

Smart Array P408 controller

The P408 SAS controller enables hardware RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across the drive bays you populate, removing the need for a separate HBA. iLO Advanced licences remote console, virtual media and power scripting so firmware updates and OS installs complete without a crash cart. Rails are available on request if your rack uses square-hole or threaded mounting.
