Dual Xeon Bronze server

The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 is a 2U rack server equipped with two Xeon Bronze 3204 processors running at 1.9GHz and 128GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. It targets organisations that need a reliable dual-socket platform for virtualisation, database or general compute workloads. The chassis supports up to eight 2.5-inch drive bays and includes a Smart Array P408 SAS controller. No drives are installed, so buyers must add their own storage.

SAS and SATA drive limits

The P408 controller manages SAS and SATA drives across the eight available bays, providing hardware RAID for redundancy and performance. Maximum memory capacity reaches 3TB when all DIMM slots are populated with supported modules. Network connectivity is handled by an Intel I350/X540 card delivering two 10GbE and two 1GbE ports. Integrated graphics handle basic display output only. Power is supplied by two 500W Flex Slot units for redundancy.

Rail kit and drive installation

The server ships without a rail kit; one can be requested separately for rack mounting. Adding drives requires compatible 2.5-inch SAS or SATA trays that match the chassis backplane. Memory expansion must use DDR4 ECC registered modules to maintain stability. Firmware and BIOS are updated to the latest stable version before dispatch, reducing first-boot configuration issues.
