The HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen11 is a 4U tower server system built around two Intel Xeon Silver 4410y processors, each delivering 12 cores at a 2.00 GHz base frequency with up to 3.90 GHz turbo. It ships with 1TB of DDR5-4800MHz ECC buffered memory across 16 modules of 64GB and 30.72TB of enterprise SATA SSD storage using eight 3.84TB 2.5-inch drives. Redundant power supplies, an embedded 4-port 1GbE OCP3 adapter, MR408i-o storage controller and iLO 6 remote management complete the platform.

Suited for virtualised workloads

This configuration suits organisations running virtualised workloads, database applications or large numbers of simultaneous applications that benefit from dual-socket performance and high memory capacity. Hot-swappable redundant power supplies allow a faulty unit to be replaced without taking the server offline. Buyers who need a rackmount chassis, more than two processor sockets, or storage interfaces other than SATA should evaluate alternative platforms. Memory and drives are supplied separately and require installation before use.

30.72TB SATA SSD capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 30.72TB enterprise SATA SSD array, delivering high-capacity flash storage on a 6Gb/s interface. Eight 3.84TB 2.5-inch drives connect through the MR408i-o Gen11 controller with 4GB cache. If the workload demands a different drive protocol, higher drive count or larger per-drive capacity, this server will not meet the requirement.
