The IBM 46W4376 is a new Intel Xeon E5-2630L v2 processor built for dual-socket server boards using the LGA 771 interface. It delivers six cores and twelve threads at a 2.4 GHz base frequency for multi-threaded workloads. The part ships as a bare processor without a cooling device or retail packaging. It is intended for server deployments only and is not compatible with IBM home computers.

Thermals and Power Envelope

Thermal design power is rated at 60 watts, matching the average CPU power figure supplied by Intel.
