Industrial mini PC with six serial ports

The Inctel I26-i5 4200U-8G256G is a fanless desktop computer built around an Intel Core i5-4200U processor with Intel HD Graphics 4400. It ships with 8 GB of DDR3L memory and a 256 GB mSATA SSD, housed in an aluminium chassis with mounting ears for fixed installations. The system supports Windows 7, 10, 11 and Linux Ubuntu. Dual Intel i213 LAN ports and 802.11ac Wi-Fi with dual antennas provide wired and wireless connectivity.

Suited for industrial automation

Six COM ports with BIOS-switchable RS232, RS422 and RS485 modes plus 8-bit GPIO make this unit a direct fit for medical devices, factory PLCs and older serial infrastructure. The 15 W TDP and fanless design allow continuous 24/7 operation in noise-sensitive or dusty environments. It is not for buyers who need more than 8 GB of RAM, who require a 2.5-inch drive bay populated out of the box, or who depend on modern wireless standards beyond 802.11ac.

Memory limited to a single 8 GB DDR3L SO-DIMM

The board offers one SO-DIMM slot wired for DDR3L 1333/1600 with a hard maximum of 8 GB, so the installed capacity cannot be increased. Storage expansion is possible through an internal 2.5-inch SATA bay and a second mini-PCIe slot, but the primary boot drive remains the supplied mSATA SSD.
