The Intel X710T2L is a PCIe 3.0 x8 network card with two RJ45 ports that run at 10Gbps. It supports NBASE-T multi-speed operation down to 100Mbps and includes Energy Efficient Ethernet to cut power during low utilisation. Hardware offloads for VxLAN, GENEVE, NVGRE and MPLS plus Intel Flow Director and DDP profiles target NFV and cloud workloads.
Suited for virtualised hosts needing two copper
This card fits servers that can provide a PCIe 3.0 x8 slot and standard-height brackets. It is not for builds limited to x4 or x1 slots, nor for appliances that require SFP+ or fibre connectivity. Buyers needing more than two ports or a different physical interface should look elsewhere.
