Two-pack ESP32 Type-C boards with breakout shields

This pack contains two ESP32 CP2012 USB-C development boards and two matching breakout shields. Each core board uses a 38-pin ESP-WROOM-32 module with integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dual-mode radio. The CP2012 USB-C interface supplies power and serial communication for flashing and debugging. The FR-4 breakout shields split every GPIO into two solder pads on a 1.6 mm double-layer PCB, giving stable connections for breadboard or perfboard builds.

Makers needing duplicated I/O

The 38-pin layout is narrower than 30-pin modules, so both boards sit side-by-side on a standard breadboard without shorting adjacent rows. The breakout shields only fit the no-mounting-hole 38-pin variant, so owners of 30-pin ESP32 boards or versions with mounting holes cannot use the expansion shields. Projects that require more than two boards per order or a different USB connector will need a separate solution.

38-pin no-mounting-hole compatibility decides fit

The breakout shields are explicitly keyed to the 38-pin narrow ESP32 module without mounting holes. If your existing ESP32 board has 30 pins or includes mounting holes, the shields will not align and cannot be used. Verify the pin count and hole pattern before purchase; no other dimensions or interfaces affect compatibility.
