Capacity and headroom

A single 32 GB stick provides substantial memory headroom for virtualisation hosts, database nodes and compute-intensive workloads. Registered signalling and ECC maintain stability under sustained load, while the CL19 latency keeps response predictable. Systems limited to lower-density slots or unbuffered memory cannot use this module.

Registered signal and ECC benefits

Registered buffering reduces electrical load on the memory controller, allowing larger total capacities per channel. On-die ECC corrects single-bit errors transparently, protecting critical data without software overhead. These features matter only on platforms that explicitly support registered ECC DIMMs; consumer desktop boards will not recognise the module.
