The LONGER Ray5 20W is a desktop laser engraver designed for makers and small workshops. It offers a 400x365mm work area and uses Dioser Technology with a 20W output power module. The unit includes a 3.5 inch colour touchscreen and supports four connection methods including Wi-Fi and SD card. It is suited for users who need a self-contained engraving and cutting station.

Sustained 7×24 hour engraving capability

The machine is rated for continuous 7×24 hour operation, allowing parallel control of multiple units from a single terminal. A 32-bit motherboard drives the system at up to 24000mm/min maximum working speed. The ultra-fine 0.08*0.1mm laser focus area and built-in 256-bit colour scale maintain detail during long runs. An air-assist interface is reserved for external pumps to keep surfaces clean during extended cuts.

Cutting limits on wood, acrylic and steel

In a single pass the engraver cuts 15mm pine wood and 8mm acrylic, while multiple passes reach 25mm wood and 35mm acrylic. It can also cut 0.05mm stainless steel. The 120W DC24V5A input powers the 20W laser module within these material constraints. The 14.7x14.7 inch cutting area defines the maximum project footprint for any job.
