4.3-inch DSI touch display for Pi 4B

This 4.3-inch IPS screen connects through the MIPI DSI port on a Raspberry Pi 4B and shows 800×480 pixels at up to 60 Hz. The capacitive panel recognises up to 10 simultaneous touch points for direct on-screen control. It runs on Raspbian, Ubuntu, Kali and Windows 10 IoT without extra driver installation. The bundle includes a fitted protection case that encloses the board and display together.

Thermals noise and power in use

The panel draws its power from the Pi's DSI connector so no separate supply or cable is required. With no backlight inverter or active cooling the unit adds negligible heat and produces no audible noise during normal operation. Typical current draw stays well within the Pi's onboard 5 V rail limits leaving headroom for other peripherals. The IPS layer maintains consistent colour and contrast across wide viewing angles without extra power cost.

Build connectors and daily handling

The supplied case snaps around the display and Pi 4B creating a single rugged module that resists knocks and dust on a bench or in a kiosk. All Pi ports remain accessible through cut-outs so Ethernet, USB and GPIO stay usable while the screen is mounted. The DSI ribbon routes internally removing strain on the delicate flex cable during transport. Capacitive glass surface resists scratches better than resistive films and wipes clean with a dry cloth.
