Industrial 8-Channel I/O Controller
The LORDWORLD board is an industrial-grade ESP32-S3 development platform with eight fully isolated digital input and output channels. It targets engineers building AIoT edge devices that need wired and wireless connectivity in electrically noisy environments. The integrated protection circuits make it suitable for factory automation, remote monitoring and custom control panels.
Eight Channels with 500 mA Sink Capability
Each output channel uses a Darlington open-collector stage that can sink up to 500 mA, allowing direct relay driving without external circuitry. Inputs accept both passive and active signals in PNP or NPN configuration thanks to bi-directional optocoupler isolation. The dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor at 240 MHz provides headroom for local logic, encryption and protocol handling before the board reaches its I/O or compute limits.
Connectivity Limits of the Onboard Interfaces
The board exposes 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE, RS485, CAN and a single Ethernet port for network integration. Wireless range and throughput follow the constraints of the 2.4 GHz band, while wired links are bounded by the respective RS485, CAN and Ethernet PHY specifications. Builders requiring additional ports, higher-speed Ethernet or cellular backhaul must add external modules.

Fragen zu diesem Artikel
Will the RS485 and CAN ports on this board talk to my older PLCs and sensors?
The board exposes RS485 and CAN interfaces alongside the Ethernet port so it can sit on the same fieldbus as legacy PLCs and sensors.
How can I verify the 8 isolated outputs are switching correctly after wiring?
Each of the eight Darlington open-collector outputs sinks up to 500 mA, so a multimeter or a test relay will show the channel pulling low when the firmware drives it.
Does the package include the terminal blocks and power supply I need to start testing?
The board arrives as a bare PCB with on-board optocoupler isolation and protection circuits; terminal blocks and an external DC supply must be sourced separately.
