This new LORDWORLD module converts RS485 serial signals to Ethernet for industrial IoT deployments. It acts as a Modbus gateway, MQTT gateway and RS485-to-JSON converter for data acquisition and automation upgrades. The rail-mount housing allows multiple units to be combined on a DIN rail for flexible installation.

Protocol support decides fit

The board handles TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP and UDP multicast modes for bi-directional data exchange across industrial networks. It also provides user-defined heartbeat and registration packets for cloud links plus NTP time synchronisation. Configuration is performed through a web browser with DHCP and DNS support.

Sustained multi-host operation

Under continuous load the server manages multi-host polling while maintaining reliable TCP/IP conversion between serial and Ethernet domains. Heartbeat packets keep cloud connections alive during long-running acquisition tasks. The rail-mount format ensures stable mounting in cabinets where vibration or temperature cycles occur.
