The MAD CATZ R.A.T. 8+ is a wired optical gaming mouse built for players who want extensive physical customization. It features an adjustable palm rest and pinky rest alongside a tunable weight system so the grip and mass can be tailored to individual preference. Eleven programmable buttons provide broad control options for complex keybinds.
16000 DPI Optical Sensor and Precision Button
The sensor offers adjustable sensitivity up to 16000 DPI, delivering high headroom for fast twitch movements or low sensitivity play. A dedicated precision button lets you temporarily shift DPI on the fly, which is useful for steady aiming during sniping scenarios. The sensor will run out of granularity only at the extreme upper limit of its range.
F.L.U.X. Software and On-Board Profiles
The downloadable F.L.U.X. software (Windows only) enables button remapping, unlimited profile creation, and RGB customisation across three LED zones. Four profiles can be stored directly on the mouse using on-board memory and swapped via a dedicated profile button. OMRON switches rated for 50 million clicks underpin the button durability.
