The MSI NF725-C21 is an ATX board built around the Socket AM3 platform and an integrated GeForce 8 series GPU. It accepts AM2+ slot CPUs such as Phenom II X3/X4 and Athlon X2/X3/X4 processors. Dual-channel DDR3 memory up to 1600 MHz is supported with a maximum capacity of 8 GB. The board also provides a Realtek ALC887 audio codec for 7.1 channel sound and a Realtek 8105E LAN controller for 10/100 Ethernet.

This motherboard fits technicians restoring or maintaining older AMD systems that require Socket AM3 and DDR3 memory.
