This compact power supply converts a vehicle's 18 V to 36 V DC source into a stable 13.8 V output rated at 45 A. It is built for operators who run two-way radios or similar wireless transmitters from a car, truck or boat electrical system. The wide input range accommodates voltage fluctuations common in mobile installations.

45 A continuous with 11 A over-current limit

The unit delivers up to 45 A at 13.8 V ±0.2 V, providing ample headroom for high-duty-cycle transmitters. Output ripple is specified at 150 mV peak-to-peak, and an over-voltage trip at 16 V ±1.5 V protects connected gear. The over-current protection activates at 11 A ±1 A, so sustained loads above that level will shut the supply down.

Metal chassis with 80 % efficiency

A silver metal enclosure measuring 13 × 8.5 × 5 cm and weighing roughly 488 g dissipates heat without a fan, suiting vibration-prone vehicle mounts. The 80 % conversion efficiency reduces waste heat and current draw from the vehicle system.
