ThinkMate GPU Server Memory Kit

This 128GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM kit targets ThinkMate GPX-QN4 and GPX-QN12 GPU-optimised servers that require registered error-correcting memory for continuous compute workloads. The two 64GB modules deliver 128GB total capacity at 3200 MT/s with CL22 latency. System administrators upgrading memory in these specific platforms will find the kit validated for compatibility.

Registered ECC Modules With Major OEM Chips

Each module uses 4Rx4 organisation built from Samsung, Micron or Hynix components and operates at 1.20V without heat spreaders. The registered buffer reduces electrical load on the server memory controller, while ECC detects and corrects single-bit errors to maintain data integrity during long training or inference runs. The kit includes only the two RDIMMs; no additional cables, software or cooling hardware are supplied.

DDR4 3200 RDIMM Interface Limits

The DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) interface caps bandwidth at the JEDEC standard rate for this generation, so throughput cannot exceed what the memory controller and 288-pin bus allow. CL22 latency is fixed by the module SPD and cannot be tightened without stability risk. Servers needing higher bandwidth per channel or lower latency must move to a newer memory generation, which this platform does not support.
