For Precision 7960 workstations only

The kit is validated for the Dell Precision 7960 and will not function in consumer motherboards, laptops or servers that require unbuffered UDIMM or SO-DIMM modules. Buyers who need non-ECC memory, lower capacities or different speeds should look at other products. Systems that do not support registered ECC RDIMMs cannot use this kit.

Registered ECC RDIMM requirement
