DDR4 2933 registered limits

The DDR4 2933 interface caps transfer rate at PC4-23400, so throughput cannot exceed what the memory controller negotiates at that speed. Registered buffering adds one clock cycle of latency, reflected in the CAS 21 timing, which is normal for this class of module. Systems without registered DIMM support or with lower maximum memory speeds will not benefit from the full rated frequency.
