Server memory upgrade

This NEMIX RAM module adds 32GB of DDR3 1600 registered ECC memory to compatible Samsung servers and workstations. It runs at 1.35V with CL11 latency and uses a 4Rx4 organisation on a 240-pin RDIMM form factor. The part is built with major OEM chips and stress tested for stability in mission critical environments.

Replacing lower capacity RDIMMs

Install this module when existing 8GB or 16GB registered DIMMs no longer provide enough headroom for virtualisation or database workloads. The jump is worth it if the motherboard supports 32GB single rank population and the memory controller accepts 4Rx4 configuration at 1600MHz. Systems limited to 16GB per slot or requiring unbuffered memory cannot use this upgrade.

Straightforward DIMM installation

Power down the server, open the chassis and align the notch on the 240-pin edge connector with the slot key. Press firmly until the retention clips engage, then verify the module is recognised at POST. Common issues include mixing registered and unbuffered DIMMs, exceeding the maximum rank count per channel, or populating slots in an unsupported sequence.
