Capacity and compatibility

This NEMIX RAM kit provides 64GB of DDR5 memory across two 32GB modules. It is built as an ECC unbuffered UDIMM for Dell Precision 3660 Tower Workstations that support DDR5 4800 operation. The kit targets IT professionals and workstation users who need error-correcting memory for data integrity in mission-critical applications.

Build integration

Each module uses a standard 288-pin DDR5 form factor and runs at 1.10V. The dual-rank 2Rx8 organisation fits into two UDIMM slots, leaving any remaining slots free for future expansion. ECC functionality requires a motherboard and processor that support unbuffered error-correcting memory; the kit adds no heat spreader, so airflow clearance is unchanged.

Upgrade path

The kit replaces lower-capacity DDR5 ECC UDIMMs or fills empty slots to reach 64GB total system memory. The jump is worthwhile when workloads exceed the capacity of a 32GB configuration or when replacing non-ECC memory to gain error detection. Systems limited to lower DDR5 speeds or registered DIMMs cannot use these modules.
