This 128GB kit consists of two 64GB DDR4 2400 CL17 ECC load-reduced DIMMs built for the Cisco UCS C240 M4 server. The modules operate at 1.2V and use a 288-pin 4Rx4 organisation to deliver registered error correction for data integrity. They are not compatible with standard desktop platforms or with unbuffered and registered ECC memory types.

Sustained load behaviour

ECC load-reduced technology reduces the electrical load on the memory controller, allowing the server to maintain stable throughput during extended virtualization or database workloads. The CL17 latency and PC4-19200 rating provide consistent bandwidth without the timing variability seen in consumer modules. Backward compatibility with 2133MHz systems lets the kit slot into existing configurations without reconfiguration.

Thermals noise and power

The modules run at the standard 1.2V DDR4 voltage and have no heat spreader, relying on the server's directed airflow for cooling. Passive operation means zero acoustic contribution, while the load-reduced architecture keeps per-module power draw low enough for dense chassis population.
