Server-grade ECC memory kit

This OWC kit delivers 128GB of DDR3 ECC Registered memory across four 32GB modules. It is built for HP ProLiant DL360 G7, DL370 G6, DL380 G7, DL385 G7 and DL580 G7 servers that require registered DIMMs with error correction. Workstations and desktop PCs cannot use this memory because they accept only unbuffered modules.

JEDEC-compliant 240-pin RDIMMs

Each module follows the PC3-10600 standard at 1333 MT/s with CL9 latency and 1.5V operation. The 4Rx4 organisation and registered buffer reduce electrical load on the server memory controller, allowing the full four-module population supported by the listed ProLiant platforms. No heat spreaders are fitted, so airflow in the original chassis ducts is unimpeded.

Low-voltage registered operation

Running at 1.5V, the kit draws minimal power for its capacity class while the registered design keeps signal integrity stable under sustained workloads. ECC circuitry corrects single-bit errors on the fly, preventing data corruption during long compute runs. The modules produce no additional acoustic noise beyond the server's existing cooling.
