128GB DDR5 ECC kit for workstations

This kit provides 128GB of DDR5 ECC unbuffered memory in four 32GB modules. It targets workstations, servers and NAS systems that require error-correcting memory for data integrity. The modules run at the JEDEC-standard 5600MT/s speed with CL46 latency. Builders who need non-ECC memory or higher frequencies should look elsewhere.

JEDEC DDR5 5600 baseline limits

The memory operates at the baseline DDR5 5600 (PC5-44800) JEDEC speed grade with 1.1V voltage and CL46 timing. This is the standard specification without XMP or EXPO profiles for automatic overclocking. Platforms that only support lower DDR5 speeds will downclock the modules. Systems requiring registered or load-reduced DIMMs cannot use this unbuffered kit.

ECC unbuffered UDIMM form factor

Each module is a 288-pin 2Rx8 ECC unbuffered DIMM, the defining specification for motherboard compatibility. The motherboard must explicitly support ECC unbuffered DDR5 UDIMMs; consumer boards that disable ECC or require registered DIMMs will not work. No heat spreaders are included, so airflow in the chassis must be adequate for sustained loads.
