This 16GB DDR4 2666MHz PC4-21300 CL19 module is built for servers, workstations and NAS systems such as the Synology FlashStation FS2017. It uses registered ECC technology to protect data integrity in multi-tasking environments. The single 2Rx4 rank DIMM operates at 1.2V without a heat spreader. It is not compatible with standard desktop computers or unbuffered memory configurations.

Verify registered ECC support and slot availability

Before ordering, confirm that your motherboard or NAS accepts 288-pin DDR4 registered ECC DIMMs and does not require unbuffered or load-reduced modules. Registered memory cannot be mixed with unbuffered or ECC load-reduced types in the same system. Check that free DIMM slots remain for the 16GB capacity you intend to add. The module is backward compatible with 2133MHz and 2400MHz bus speeds if your platform runs at those frequencies.
