Registered DDR4 interface constraints

The module operates at 2933MHz with CL21 latency and 1.2V, conforming to the PC4-23400 JEDEC standard. Registered buffering adds a clock cycle, which is required for the C4140 memory controller but prevents use in systems expecting unbuffered DIMMs. Backward compatibility covers 2133MHz, 2400MHz and 2666MHz bus speeds, though the module will run at the lowest common speed populated. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow in the server chassis must be sufficient.
