1TB DDR4-3200 ECC RDIMM kit for QNAP TS-h2490FU

This kit provides 1TB of DDR4 3200 PC4-25600 CL22 ECC Registered memory in four 256GB modules. It is designed for the QNAP TS-h2490FU server platform where ECC Registered DIMMs are required. Standard desktop computers cannot use this memory type and it must not be mixed with unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs.

DDR4-3200 Registered ECC limits

The modules operate at 3200 MT/s with CL22 latency and 1.2V voltage using 8Rx4 octal-rank organisation. Registered ECC adds a register clock cycle that reduces electrical load on the memory controller, allowing higher capacities per channel. Mixing with unbuffered or load-reduced memory is not supported and will prevent the system from booting.

Four-module installation in TS-h2490FU

Install all four 288-pin RDIMMs in the matching slots of the TS-h2490FU following the motherboard population order. Ensure each module clicks fully into place; incomplete seating is the most common cause of boot failure or memory errors. Do not combine these Registered DIMMs with any unbuffered or load-reduced modules already present in the system.
