This 32GB DDR4 ECC Registered RDIMM is built for Lenovo ThinkAgile systems using first-generation Xeon Scalable processors. It targets administrators who need to expand capacity in HX7520, HX7521, HX7820, HX7821 or NX2320 servers. The module will not work in standard desktop computers or with unbuffered memory.

DDR4 2666 registered limits

The stick runs at 2666MHz with CL19 latency and 1.2V, conforming to the PC4-21300 JEDEC standard. Registered buffering adds one clock cycle of delay versus unbuffered DIMMs, a trade-off required for signal integrity at higher densities. Backward compatibility lets it operate at 2133MHz or 2400MHz if the platform demands it. Mixing registered and unbuffered modules is not supported.

This module directly substitutes the listed Lenovo part numbers, letting you add 32GB per slot without changing firmware or BIOS settings. The upgrade is worthwhile when existing DIMMs are smaller or when empty slots are available in a qualified ThinkAgile chassis. It does not suit systems that require load-reduced or unbuffered memory.
