This 32 GB DDR4 2933 MHz CL21 ECC Registered RDIMM is built for Lenovo ThinkAgile VX3320, VX3520-G, VX5520, VX7320-N and VX7520 systems. It operates at 1.2 V on a 288-pin interface with a 2Rx4 rank structure. The module adds capacity to Xeon SP Gen 2 platforms that require registered memory with error correction.

Replaces Specific Lenovo Parts

This unit replaces Lenovo part numbers 01AG632, 4ZC7A08709 and 4ZC7A08742. The upgrade is worth it when those original modules are exhausted or when expanding total memory beyond the factory configuration. Backward compatibility with 2133 MHz, 2400 MHz and 2666 MHz buses allows deployment in mixed-speed channels without changing existing DIMMs.

Build Integration Constraints

The registered ECC design means this DIMM will not work in standard desktop boards or alongside unbuffered memory. It fits server, workstation and NAS platforms that accept 288-pin DDR4 RDIMMs. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow in the chassis must be sufficient for passive cooling. Populating all slots with matched ranks keeps the memory subsystem stable.
