The unbuffered, non-ECC design suits mainstream platforms without registered-memory support.

JEDEC PC4-17000 speed ceiling

The modules conform to the JEDEC PC4-17000 standard, so they will not exceed 2133MHz or tighten CL15 timings even if the host controller allows higher data rates. Systems limited to lower DDR4 speeds will down-clock automatically, while boards that require faster JEDEC profiles cannot be satisfied by this kit. No XMP or manual overclocking profiles are included.

Tool-free slot installation

Each 260-pin SO-DIMM inserts vertically into the memory slot until the side clips engage, a process that typically takes minutes per module. The most common issue is a module not fully seated, which causes the system to recognise less than the installed 64GB or fail to boot. Verifying the slot notch alignment and applying even pressure on both ends prevents this. Builders needing ECC, registered DIMMs or capacities above 64GB cannot use this kit.
