SFX-L 500 W power supply
The Silverstone SX500-LG is a fully modular SFX-L unit rated at 500 W. It targets small-form-factor builders who need more cooling headroom than a standard SFX design allows. The 120 mm fan runs at a minimum of 18 dBA for quiet operation. 80 PLUS Gold certification confirms 87 to 90 percent efficiency across typical loads.
Single +12 V rail at 40 A
All 500 W are delivered on a single +12 V rail rated at 40 A. This layout simplifies power distribution for modern graphics cards and CPUs. Two 6+2-pin PCIe connectors are provided for GPU power. The 20+4-pin ATX and 8/4-pin EPS cables support current motherboards.
Full modular cables ease routing
Every cable detaches so only required leads stay in the case. Lengths include a 300 mm ATX connector, a 400 mm EPS connector, and PCIe cables at 400 mm and 150 mm. Three SATA connectors span 300 mm, 200 mm and 100 mm. Verify case clearance for the 30 mm longer SFX-L body before ordering.
