Three-slot Thunderbolt 3 expansion

The Sonnet Echo Express SE IIIe connects three full-height PCIe cards to any computer with Thunderbolt 3 ports. It provides three PCIe 3.0 slots: one x8 mechanical running at x4 electrical and two x8 mechanical at x8 electrical. A 6-pin Mini-Fit Jr connector supplies supplemental power for cards that require it. The desktop chassis accepts cards up to 7.75 inches long.

Professionals who rely on video capture, audio DSP or RAID controllers gain the bandwidth of a 40Gbps Thunderbolt 3 link. Mac users need macOS 10.12.6 or later; Windows users need Windows 10 64-bit version 1809 or newer; Linux users require kernel 5.0 or higher. Buyers without a Thunderbolt 3 port on their host computer cannot use this enclosure.
