Storage is handled by an LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i 8-port SAS 12 Gb/s PCIe RAID controller with 1 GB cache and battery backup. It supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across SATA and SAS drives. This controller determines how many arrays can be built and what redundancy levels are available.
