The Supermicro SYS-6018U-TR4T+ is a 1U rackmount server system built around two Intel Xeon E5-2660 v4 processors, each running at 2.0 GHz with 14 cores. It ships with 128 GB of DDR4 registered ECC memory and a MegaRAID 9361-8i controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Four 3.5-inch hot-plug drive bays and quad 10GBase-T Ethernet ports complete the core configuration.

Suits virtualisation hosts needing density

This server fits teams consolidating workloads into a single rack unit where dual-socket compute, hardware RAID and four 10 GbE links are required out of the box. Buyers who need more than four 3.5-inch drive bays or who require a GPU for accelerated compute should look elsewhere. The Matrox G200 graphics subsystem provides only basic display output.

The chassis accepts exactly four 3.5-inch SATA or SAS drives in the supplied trays, so the maximum raw capacity is set by the largest drives you install in those bays. No 2.5-inch bays or M.2 slots are included in this configuration.
