Dual-socket 1U server for dense compute

The Supermicro SYS-6019U-TN4R4T fits two Intel Xeon Gold 5118 processors into a single rack unit. Each CPU runs at 2.3 GHz with 12 cores and a 3.2 GHz turbo frequency. The system ships with 512 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory across 16 DIMMs. It targets workloads that need high core density and large memory capacity in minimal rack space.

Four 3.5-inch hot-swap bays with hardware RAID

Storage connects through an LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller that supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. The controller provides eight SAS 12 Gb/s ports and 1 GB of battery-backed cache. Four front-accessible trays accept SATA or SAS hard drives; no drives are included. This bay count and controller combination decides whether the chassis meets a project’s local storage requirements.

Redundant platinum power supplies

Two hot-swap 750 W platinum-efficiency units share the load and maintain uptime if one fails. The Matrox G200 graphics core with 8 MB video memory handles console output with negligible heat. A dedicated RJ45 port exposes IPMI 2.0 with KVM-over-LAN and virtual media for remote administration. Four 10GBase-T ports from an Intel X540 controller add network throughput without a separate adapter.
