Dual Xeon Gold 6130 server

The Supermicro SYS-6029U-E1CR4T is a 2U rackmount server built for enterprise virtualization and storage workloads. It ships with two Intel Xeon Gold 6130 processors running at 2.1 GHz with 16 cores each. The system includes 64 GB of DDR4-2666 ECC registered memory across four modules. Dual 1000 W titanium power supplies provide redundant hot-swap power.

LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller

Storage is managed by an LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i 8-port SAS 12 Gb/s PCIe controller with 1 GB cache and battery backup. It supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 for flexible data protection. The chassis provides twelve hot-plug 3.5-inch drive bays accepting SATA or SAS drives. Drive trays are included but no hard drives are installed.

64 GB DDR4 with 24 DIMM slots

The installed 64 GB suits moderate virtualization clusters and database instances with room to grow. Memory capacity can scale to 6 TB using 3DS ECC DDR4 RDIMM or LRDIMM modules across twenty-four slots. Builders needing higher initial memory or NVMe hybrid bays must add storage cards and populate additional DIMM slots.
