The TROUVER Antminer L7 8.5Gh is an ASIC miner built for the Scrypt algorithm. It delivers a hash rate of 8500 MH/s while drawing an estimated 3,424 Watts. The unit was released in February 2022 and targets operators mining Litecoin or Dogecoin at scale.

Industrial chassis with four high-speed fans

The enclosure measures 195 x 290 x 370mm and weighs 15000g. Four fans produce a noise level of 75db, so the machine runs loud and generates significant heat. Stable operation demands a 220v outlet and strong forced-air ventilation; a step-down transformer is not sufficient.

Replaces earlier Scrypt ASICs with lower output

This model supersedes previous generation Scrypt miners that offered substantially less hashing power. The jump is worthwhile when electricity costs allow the 8.5Gh/s throughput to cover the 3,424 Watt draw and the facility can handle the thermal and acoustic load.
