The Ubiquiti Networks T817L is a single 1080P IP camera built for indoor or outdoor placement. An IP66 rating protects the sealed housing against dust and water even when mounted upside down. It connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi at up to 54 Mbps and draws power from 100–240 V AC mains.

Fits a mains socket and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi

Because the unit requires AC power, you need a weather-protected outlet or a covered cable run near the mounting point. The wireless link removes the need for an Ethernet drop, freeing installation spots along patios, garages or driveways. A microSD card up to 256 GB or a HomeBase Mini handles local recording without cloud fees.

Dual external antennas and AI detection

Two external antennas strengthen the 2.4 GHz signal for steadier streaming. On-board AI distinguishes people, vehicles, pets and crying sounds, cutting false alerts. Colour night vision uses an f/1.2 aperture and BSI sensor to capture 2.8× more light, while 360° pan and tilt with auto-tracking follow motion across the full field.
