The Vszerda PCIe 1x riser lets a graphics card or other PCIe expansion card operate from a single-lane PCIe 1x slot on the motherboard. It is built for builders who need to relocate a card outside the standard slot spacing or fit a larger card into a compact board layout. The board accepts x1, x4, x8 and x16 cards electrically limited to x1 bandwidth.

20 cm Foiled Flex Cable

A 20 cm shielded flexible cable connects the riser board to the motherboard slot, allowing the card to be positioned away from the primary expansion area. Gold-plated edge contacts on both ends maintain reliable signal integrity over the link. The foil wrapping reduces electromagnetic interference along the high-speed differential pairs.

Single-Lane Bandwidth Constraint

The adapter provides only PCIe 1x electrical connectivity regardless of the physical size of the installed card. Workloads that require multi-lane throughput such as modern gaming GPUs or high-speed capture cards will be bottlenecked by the single-lane link. Buyers needing full x16 or x8 bandwidth should not use this riser for those devices.
