The Vszerda SI-PEX40162 adds four M.2 M-key sockets to a desktop, server or workstation through a single PCIe 4.0 x16 connection. It is built for users who need to run multiple high-performance NVMe drives simultaneously. The card targets enthusiasts and professionals building storage arrays or adding capacity to platforms that lack enough native M.2 slots.

PCIe 4.0 x16 host link and bifurcation requirement

The card connects via a PCIe 4.0 x16 interface and divides those sixteen lanes into four x4 links, delivering up to 256Gbps of aggregate bandwidth across the four slots. A motherboard and BIOS that support PCIe bifurcation are required to recognise all four drives; without bifurcation only one module will be detected.

Fits x16 slot and accepts common M.2 lengths

The board measures 9.5 in by 5.0 in by 0.75 in and occupies one full-size x16 expansion slot. It accepts 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 form-factor drives and includes a large heatsink with an active fan plus a two-phase power design rated for 19.8W per drive to maintain unthrottled speeds. Compatible with AMD Ryzen Threadripper sTRX40 and Intel VROC RAID configurations.
