The WOTIMILON WM87 is a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard with 87 keys and clicky blue switches. It connects through USB-C wired, Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz wireless and can store three Bluetooth devices for quick switching between tablet, laptop and phone. The retro typewriter aesthetic includes double-shot keycaps, a steampunk palm rest and true per-key RGB backlighting with 18 lighting modes.
Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz share the same 10-second
Wireless modes enter a sleep state after roughly 10 seconds of inactivity, so the first keystroke after a pause may not register until firmware is updated via the supplier software. The keyboard works with Windows, macOS and Android, but the DIY configuration software is Windows-only, limiting macro and lighting customisation on other platforms.
Clicky blue switches define the feel and sound
True mechanical blue switches give tactile feedback and an audible click on every press, suited to typists who want clear actuation confirmation. The same click noise makes the board less suitable for shared offices, quiet rooms or late-night gaming where a linear or silent switch would be preferred.
