The Acumen Disc AD199-USB copies one source USB flash drive to as many as 199 targets without a host computer. Each channel draws from 128 MB of onboard buffer memory so every target writes at its own pace. The unit accepts USB 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 Type-A drives only; externally connected devices are not supported.

Sustained copy and erase behaviour

Asynchronous operation lets each of the 199 ports finish independently, avoiding the bottleneck of a single slow drive. Quick Copy mode transfers only occupied space at up to 33 MB/s, while Full Copy clones the entire media. Four DoD-compliant erase modes — including 3-pass and 7-pass to 5220.22-M standards — run unattended for secure decommissioning.
