Assembled Pi Cobbler Plus for 40-pin Pi

The Adafruit Assembled Pi Cobbler Plus is a ready-to-use breakout cable for Raspberry Pi models A+, B+, Pi 2, Pi 3 and Pi 4. It connects the board's 40-pin GPIO header directly to a solderless breadboard without any soldering. The compact board measures 63mm by 20mm by 11mm and weighs 12g. It is aimed at makers and engineers who want to prototype circuits quickly.

Limited to 40-pin Raspberry Pi headers

The cable only works with Raspberry Pi boards that expose the 40-pin GPIO layout, specifically the A+, B+, Pi 2, Pi 3 and Pi 4. Older models with the 26-pin header are not supported and would require a different adapter. The ribbon cable carries power, GPIO, I2C and SPI signals to the breadboard. No other host platforms or connector types are compatible with this specific assembly.

Push-on installation with keyed connector

Installation consists of pressing the ribbon cable onto the Pi's 40-pin header and inserting the breakout pins into a standard solderless breadboard. The keyed connector prevents reversed insertion.
