The AFRNDK Antminer L3++ is a Scrypt ASIC miner built for Litecoin and Dogecoin production. It delivers a hash rate of 580MH/s while drawing 942W from a bundled power supply. The unit targets operators who want a dedicated Scrypt device with a self-developed BM1485 chip array of 288 chips.
Thermals, Noise & Power
Two double-sided fans push air across independent heat sinks bonded with a new process for a more robust chassis. The aluminium-alloy frame measures 188 x 130 x 352mm and operates between 0 and 40 °C at 5 to 95 % humidity. Acoustic output reaches 76dB under load with a power efficiency of 1.6J/MH at 11.60 to 13.00 V input.
Upgrade Context
The L3++ replaces the earlier L3+ which runs at 504MH/s with the same 1.6J/MH efficiency. The jump is worth it when the 76MH/s uplift improves pool payouts enough to offset the identical efficiency envelope. It does not serve SHA-256 coins such as Bitcoin, so buyers who need that algorithm should look elsewhere.
